The 2012 Pop-A-Lock National Convention is once again being held in conjunction with the Associated Locksmiths of America Trade Show and Convention.

Additional Information:

The Aloa show runs 7 July-14 July, 2012. There are technical classes all week and the Expo/Tradeshow is July 12th -14th and runs from noon to 4pm/5pm each day.

Registration is not available on the website at the time of this writing but I was told it will be available very soon: www.aloa.org

Pro Tips:

1. Wear comfortable shoes, there is always lots of walking.
2. Register for classes as soon as you can. Bring your own small hand tools and a flashlight to class, this can really help. Go find your classroom the night before you have class so you aren't lost in the morning.
3. Get your registration badges the day before as lines can get long to do that.
4. If you are going for classes and want to make the most of your time, ensure you register for evening classes.
5. If you intend to take any certification exams, be aware that the PRP is typically given in the evening time 6-10 or so, check the convention scheudule.
6. Don't discuss Pop-A-Lock discounted pricing for programs with outside locksmiths from partners such as Keylessride or American Key Supply.
7. Bring a camera and take pictures of things that interest you that you may have other questions later without having to sort through a bag of brochures, this works well for business cards as well.
